      22 N. Main St. in San Andreas, CA. next to the Historic Courthouse and County Museum.

"Formation of the new Manzanita Writers Press, housing Writers Unlimited critique group, and an affiliate of the Calaveras County Arts Council.  Volunteer Editors and staff members needed for startup. Staff needs at present: Grant writers, distribution editor, fiscal editor, as well as advertising and sponsorship staff.

March: layout for Manzanita - deadline for advertisers and sponsors to sign on to volume 6: March 15.

April 30-May 2: Goldrush Writers Conference features Writers from Manzanita Writers Press and Writers Unlimited
      Manzanita Anthology volume 6 released, hot off the press. Monika Rose, book release, River by the Glass, poetry collection

May 8: Opening Celebration - Manzanita volume 6 book release at Historic County Courthouse and Museum/Art gallery/bookstore from 11-5. Refreshments, book signings, reading by authors, music, and literary schmoozing. Open mic for the public to share their writing. Come join us! Absolutely free!!!

May 15-16: Writers table at the Arts Building. Come meet the Manzanita Writers Press Staff and writers and make a found poem on the spot. Materials provided.
